The criminal court of Guizeh, a suburb of Cairo, “decided to exculpate Farouk Hosni of the expenses of corruption and illegal enrichment”, declared this source. In the wake of the fall of regime, it had been put on the list of the persons forbidden to leave Egypt.
Numerous political leaders of epoch Moubarak were judged or were the object of chases after the fall of the ancient president, who purges a trouble of prison with perpetuity for murders made during the suppression of uprising against its regime himself. Mr Hosni had put his resounding failure at the head of the organization of the UNO for culture, science and education at the account of “conspiracy” and at “Zionist pressures”. Egyptian intellectuals had nevertheless put its balance sheet also in reason in the ministry, thinking that it had made “no notable progress” in the field of culture and that its longevity in the ministry was suspicious.
